I decided to change the Gutenberg style. I was tired of the standard gray gears. And, what I really wanted was something that I had created. I went through a bunch of the photos I’ve taken over the years. (Actually, I just went through a very small amount) I created the banners using a little script I made with imagemagick. Feel free to use them on your own site, or let me know if you like them. Here the are!
What I dream about.
I dream about my friends and family bringing forth leadership and partnership in the world. When I talk to my friends and family, and I ask them, “What have you been up to?” that I DON’T hear, “My closet is now clean.” or “I watch the entire new series on Fox” but rather, I hear about big projects.
Things like, “We just got a bill signed into law which was part of a possibility we came up with” “We eliminated poverty in Nicaragua” “The number of students completing high school is up after we finished working with the school system.” Projects that make a huge difference in the world.
I dream about knowing that my entire family has said everything, and heard everything from their parents. So that no one has to write a letter after a parent passed away attempting to say the things they wished they had said.
I dream about a time, where the entire world knows and experiences being loved and where people know that their life is for something in the world and their community.
That is what I dream about.
