November 17th, 2007Moving to Tennessee
May 29th, 2007Well, the time has come to move to Tennessee. Yes, I am headed south. It is wonderful that Kate is also coming with me down there. Why you ask? It just seems like the perfect time, and the perfect thing to do. Being near all my family, being in warmer weather, getting a good change of pace of life. Getting to begin to create a life with Kate. Plus, it will really be an adventure.
Our POD arrived, and we packed it up. all our stuff is now in it, and will be transported to Tennessee. We are looking forward to the adventure and all that life will bring.
Trip to Tennessee
November 9th, 2006I took a trip to Tennessee with Kate. It was our first trip together anywhere. We had so much fun, and it was a very very full trip! We got to drive to my cousin’s wedding in Chattanooga. Mexican food (including a birthday celebration). I got to hear Kate play the violin with my Dad’s guitar. We had a bonfire. All in all it was a great trip. And, there are tons of pictures for those of you wanting to see more. I’m very happy I met Kate.
Linden Park Cleanup
September 30th, 2006Today, a bunch of the folks in our neighborhood got together to clean up the fence along our streets. We raked, and clipped, and stuffed limbs, twigs, leaves, bushes into bags. Lots of sweeping went on. The best part, was that I got to meet a bunch of the people in my neighborhood that I hadn’t met yet. And, one of things I want is a closer community feeling at home. I’m glad I went.

June 27th, 2006Young Scholars Institute
June 24th, 2006Here is a photo of one of my classes. They are busy at work in creating their own dance/techno music, for the class called “Your Own Mix”. The other class I teach is Intro to Programming, where they learn a bit of Java and learn how to write games.
The program has been around for 23 years, and I was in the very first Young Scholar’s program. It is another amazing program, and my mom is the director.
